Sigma Vinum creates excellent wines true to the motto “That’s how Austria tastes!”
The SIGMA symbol Σ is a letter in the greek alphabet, the mathematical symbol for a sum and probably the most known mathematical sign. For us it stands for the high-quality diversity of the main Austrian autochthonous grape varieties GRÜNER VELTLINER and BLAUFRÄNKISCH.
Grüner Veltliner produced in Lower Austria. Blaufränkisch produced in Burgenland.
Depending on the rotation of the SIGMA symbol, it has a diverse meaning:
3 different styles of wine
Manfred or Mancini
We work with over 40 wineries in different regions of Austria. This way we can combine the best wines every year.
The wine comes from different locations and wine-growing regions.
Lower Austria: Grüner Veltliner
Sigma Vinum orientates towards Austria’s most typical types of grapes “Grüner Veltliner” and “Blaufränkisch”.
Sigma Vinum wants to present the domestic grape varieties as characteristic and multifarious as possible. We want to put the diversity of Grüner Veltliner and Blaufränkisch coming from typical regions in a novel wine.
